Sometimes finding the right studio monitor can feel like searching for the a needle in the proverbial haystack. Mackie is aware that different applications require different specifications, so they've developed the Creative Reference series specifically for the multimedia sector. The Mackie CR4 is a monitor set with excellent reference characteristics, but only a modest footprint. As such, it's ideal for crowded flexplace work spaces and editing cubicles. When it comes to audio quality, the CR4 monitors do not compromise. Thanks tot their flat frequency response and natural sound reproduction, these speakers are just as reliable as the colours and clarity of your computer screen.
The Mackie CR4s: Technical Details
For the CR4 monitor set, Mackie has used a familiar configuration that links an active monitor to a passive model. As such, only one of the speakers has been equipped with an amplifier module and a power cable, and the passive CR4 is connected by means of wire terminals. Audio input is supplied via balanced jack connectors or unbalanced RCA connectors. The CR4 monitor set's amplifier module boasts an RMS power of 28 watts, and can easily handle 50-watt peaks, so the dynamics of your (video) mix remain intact while you're editing or playing it back.
Smart Design
These Creative Reference monitors have a clever design. The active speaker is fitted with an illuminated, front-mounted volume knob for quick hands-on control. Next to it, you'll find two mini jack connectors: an aux input for your smartphone, tablet or laptop, and a headphone output that allows you to work without bothering others. Finally, the CR4 monitor set is fitted with a switch that allows you to select the position of the active speaker (L/R), so you're free to set up your gear just the way you like it.

Bas is geweldig, dus geen subwoofer nodig.
Les enceintes sont pas mal avec toutes les connectiques et supports enceintes inclus.
