This pair of Mackie CR3-X active studio monitors offers a serious upgrade on any standard set of laptop or computer speakers, powering up your audio with tight sound and a matching, tight look. And, for listening sessions that last into to the wee-small hours, they even come fitted with a headphone output.
The Outstanding Features of the Mackie CR3-X
While 3-inches might sound small when it comes to woofers, the low-end that these speakers are able to produce is actually outstanding. Setting them up is as thought-free as it gets, since our simply link the two speakers, and then connect your audio source of choice (i.e. laptop or computer) via the back panel of the active side, which can be placed either side of your listening position and still deliver a faithful stereo image thanks to the fitted 'left/right' stereo switch.

Na enkele uren opzoekwerk en tegenvallende reviews toch deze set gekocht. De afwerking van deze speakers vind je nergens in deze prijsklasse... De alom bekende his door de speakers lost ik op door balanced cables bij te bestellen en de sub iets verder van mn stopcontact te plaatsen.
Hoewel ik hier niemand studio of mix werk mee zie doen zijn het veruit de beste computerspeakers met een uitstekende afwerking waar je uren naar kan luisteren zonder vermoeidheid.
Alsook klinkt de sub redelijk direct en gaat niet langs alle kanten galmen ; hij sluit mooi aan bij de kleine cr3-x speakertjes. Nog een kleine duim omhoog voor Bax die ervoor zorgde dat mijn pakket goed genoeg verpakt was zodat onze postbode het ongestoord tegen de grond kon gooien :)
Geluidskwaliteit is verrassend goed voor deze prijs.
Very good for general music and movies have an amazing sound as well. I'm currently blasting spotify playlists all day and enjoying it.
Not top notch sound for electric guitar playing in my experience because of the that small resonance. Very prominent in the E power chord with palm mute (the most common chord in guitar songs).
Again.. I'm not an expert in sound so there might be ways to avoid this resonance feedback.
