General
Not only is the design of the VXT 4 active studio monitor attractive, it's effective too. Thanks to the rounded housing, this speaker features an exceptionally broad sweet spot, and has little to no issues with internal resonance frequencies. Furthermore, you'll find that the bass port is placed on the front, which means you can place your speakers against the wall or in a corner without decreasing your audio quality. Mixing your track is a piece a cake when you work with the clear, detailed sound of the VXT 4!
VXT 4: the woofer and the tweeter
The 4-inch woven Kevlar woofer produces a warm, organic sound, and the 1-inch silk dome tweeter offers fast transient response and a well-defined high range. Because the components are made of natural, porous materials, heat is easily dispersed to avoid undesired side effects, such as compression. These features guarantee excellent sonic performance!
A broad sweet spot
As we mentioned, the VXT 4 features an extra-large sweet spot resulting from the curved housing. The sweet spot is the place where you get optimal stereo image and can hear the audio mix exactly as it was intended to sound. By widening this spot, you can enjoy more freedom to move about in your studio while still working with the best sound possible. Finally, the VXT 4 monitor is a fully active monitor and is fit for use as AV, DJ or studio monitor.

Ho ly shit
Wat een geluid komt er uit deze kleine speakers zeg.
Mijn Rokits 8 en Alesis monitor one Mk2 worden er door omvergeblazen qua kwaliteit.
iets minder sub dat de rokits 8 maar wat je hoord is veel eerlijker strakker en veel meer detail.
in combinatie met een Krk 10s subwoofer is het helemaal een feest, ze vullen elkaar perfect aan.
maar alleen de vxt 4 zelf klinken al behoorlijk
Het volume wat de vxt 4 kan is meer dan hard genoeg voor in de studio.
Ik dacht eerst dat ze te klein zouden zijn, maar ik heb er echt geen spijt van!!
Daarvoor had ik de krk rp5 rokit G2 maar het geluid dat de krk vxt's 4 produceren is echt wel een stuk zuiverder en gedetailleerder.
Ik gebruik de monitors om mee te mixen in mijn hobbyruimte, hiervoor zijn ze enorm goed geschikt, maar toch 1 kleine opmerking, ze zijn zoals hier reeds staat geschreven inderdaad wat dun in de lage tonen, voor mij iets te dun.
Daarom gebruik ik ze nu in combinatie met de KRK 10s actieve subwoofer, en eerlijk gezegd, wauw, deze vullen elkaar perfect aan! Prachtige combo die de grijns op uw gezicht zal toveren!
Ze zaten goed verpakt en zijn optijd bezorgt!
Het zijn mooie kleine speakers en hebben prachtig zuiver geluid.
Toch mis ik wel een beetje laag.
Waarschijnlijk ga ik ze omruilen voor zijn grotere broertje VXT-6.
En dan de speakers zelf: duur, maar de prijs meer dan waard. Prachtig stereobeeld. Staan ca. 40cm van me af, 1,5 mtr uit elkaar. Gebruik ze voor mijn keyboard en om zelf gemaakte opnames af te mixen. Bas zit er meer dan genoeg (eigenlijk precies genoeg) in. Een subblaffer is echt niet nodig.
Geluid een stuk beter (voor waar ik ze voor gebruik) dan de Rokit series. Alle waar naar je geld zullen we maar zeggen.
Oh ja, inloggen bij BAX via de iPad luktte niet, maar na een mailtje is ook dit supersnel geregeld, Prima geregeld daar in Goes!
Het formaat vd monitors is perfekt en geen doorn in het oog.
Wil je iets meer power kun je aan het grotere broertje denken, maar voor mijn doeleinden is de VXT4 prima,natuurtrouw geluid en handzaam.
En zoals we van BAX gewent zijn prima service en verzending.

Je gelooft je oren niet.
Hun uiterlijk hebben ze alvast ook mee want ze zien er echt top uit.
Door hun grootte nemen ze bijna geen plaats in zodat ze gemakkelijk op te stellen zijn.
Dubbel en dik zijn geld waard voor mij.
En een pluim voor Bax voor de snelle en verzorgde levering.
Ik gebruik 2 VXT4's voor het afmonteren van live opnames en monteren van diverse commercials en intro's.
In eerste instantie had ik de speakers op mijn bureau staan, maar vond dat er dan (door de akoestische koppeling) teveel laag was.
Nu heb ik ze met de officiële wall brackets (MW-VXT4WB) opgehangen en ik wil niet meer anders.
De speakers klinken natuurgetrouw, hebben een goeie dynamiek en ruim voldoende vermogen.
Kortom een absolute aanrader en een geweldige prijs kwaliteit verhouding.
Ik heb twee van deze jongens (witte Ltd. variant, compleet gelijk aan deze versie, alleen in het wit!) op mijn bureau staan, waar ik iets minder dan een meter vanaf zit...
Het geluid is loepzuiver en het vermogen is ruim voldoende!
Pluspunten:
- Loepzuiver geluid
- Klein kwa formaat (zijn prima op een bureau te plaatsen!)
- 3 jaar garantie
- Eventueel uitbreidbaar met subwoofer
- Strak design
Minpunten:
- Prijs is vrij hoog
- Vrij zwaar (hoeft niet altijd een probleem te zijn natuurlijk...)
Kortom:
Zeker een aanrader voor het produceer werk! Ga je hiermee draaien dan denk ik dat je wat 'laag' te kort komt...
Maar dat is dan natuurlijk heel eenvoudig op te lossen door het plaatsen van een subwoofer.

Uiteraard perfect, voor 18.00 uur besteld, volgende dag al in huis!
Maar dat had ik natuurlijk niet anders verwacht ;-)
