General

The solid form of the JBL LSR 708P active studio monitor houses incredibly flexible and more than capable audio performance. The 8-inch woofer is able to handle sub frequencies reaching as low as 41Hz while the tweeter can climb as far as 25kHz - plenty of range for larger, more demanding projects and more than enough range for the average human ear. The face of the 708P looks both hefty and sleek, while the rear is all about the business. Besides an XLR input, an AES3 input, network input, and an XLR output has been provided alongside a comprehensive display screen complete with control panel. This clean interface can be used to tweak the parameters of the monitor in exacting detail and calibrate the audio reproduction according to the specific acoustic character of a space. This formidable and uncompromising monitor will perform beautifully whether mixing or mastering, and since it's JBL-made, is definitely one for the more particular connoisseurs.
