General

This unique Genelec studio monitor looks like it only has one speaker at first glance, but that's not true! The 8351A is actually a three-way speaker with three different speakers, and thanks to its unique coaxial design it has a particularly broad frequency response. The sound comes from one place, so comb filters at different listening positions are virtually absent. You'll also find that the sound is vertically and horizontally identical, making it ideal for a broad range of applications.

Genelec 8351A: SAM monitor system

Genelec speakers have always gotten noticed thanks to their die-cast aluminium housings, and you'll find that the same is true with this monitor. The design has been created in such a way that there is no resonance within the housing. The 8351A also features the new SAM technology, which stands for Smart Active Monitor, so you can control the sound of your monitors via a computer. Connected speakers are automatically corrected by the AutoCal program, depending on the space they're in and resulting in an accurate, detailed sound!

Overview

You'll find Genelec speakers in professional and home studios and all over the world, thanks to their incredibly realistic sound reproduction. The Genelec 8315A has a practically straight frequency response, as the maximum deviation is just 1.5 dB, and that's over a range of 32 Hz to 40 kHz. This monitor can also produce a sound pressure level of no less than 110 dB. It's equipped with a balanced XLR input, an AES/EBU input, and a CAT connector for connecting the speaker to your computer.
