When it comes to the mixing and mastering phase, everything can rest on the quality of your monitors. While most standard models separate the tweeter and woofer, leading to possible phase problems that warp the audio image, the coaxial configuration of the Genelec 8331AP SAM places a tweeter, mid range driver, and woofer in the same position. This intelligent construction supports a consistent audio image, free of-phase issues, whether set up vertically or horizontally.
The Genelec 8331AP SAM Studio Monitor
Wielding Genelec's in-house developed S.A.M. technology (AKA Smart Active Technology), this monitor has the ability to adapt to its acoustic environment. So, if your studio is a little less than acoustically perfect (or the monitors are not set up perfectly), this monitor will simply recalibrate and adjust itself accordingly, resulting in a consistently accurate and neutral audio image. In short: a powerful and professional high-performance monitor.
