This professional-grade, Finnish-made active speaker produces an amazingly lively sound and effortlessly upholds Genelec's reputation. Weighing less than 9 kg and sitting proudly atop a superbly stable Iso-Pod stand, the 8040 BPM offers resonance-free placement possibilities for flawless stereo sound and an easy-to-find sweet spot.

Whether it's for a mobile TV or radio recording studio or a professional project studio, the 8040 BPM always gives its best and, thanks to 2x 90 Watts of power, you'll always have more than enough headroom for convincing dynamics across the entire sonic spectrum. To clearly represent the lows, the built-in 6.5-inch woofer kicks in at 45 Hz while the soft edges of the housing help to create optimal tweeter and woofer projection and an extremely flat frequency response.
