De Fostex PM0.4d is een compacte actieve studiomonitor die leverbaar is in drie kleurvarianten: wit, zwart en deze fraaie grijze versie. Ondanks het kleine formaat heeft deze 4-inch speaker een indrukwekkende klank. Hij is bi-amped en heeft een gedetailleerd, dynamisch en natuurlijk geluid. Aan de achterzijde vindt u zowel een ongebalanceerde (Cinch) als gebalanceerde (6.35 mm TRS-jack) ingang.

De bouw van de PM0.4d
De Fostex PM0.4d heeft naast ingangen aan de achterzijde ook een volumeknop en een aan- / uitschakelaar. De 4-inch woofer is vervaardigd uit glasvezel en wordt aangedreven door een 25 Watt digitale versterker. De 3/4-inch dome tweeter is gemaakt van zijde en heeft een versterker met een vermogen van 16 Watt. Deze monitorset is een degelijke weergever voor gebruik in menig thuisstudio.
