Regardless of whether your recording is soft or loud, intimate or colossal, a good audio mix is essential. That's why Dynaudio have come up with this black active LYD 8 studio monitor that offers a rich, deep, velvety sound for ultimate critical listening. Despite its size, you can even position this speaker relatively close to the wall. Bear in mind as well that the 8-inch woofer in this unit requires a good amount of room to really show you what it's got, meaning it's suitable for larger studio spaces.

Comparées à d'autres marques, elles sont assez compactes pour un 8 pouces, pareil pour le Sub.
Côté son, j'ai testé les LYD 7 et les LYD 8 et malgré que toutes les reviews donnent les LYD 7 comme étant les préférées c'est les LYD 8 que je garde. Mon choix s'est fait à niveau du ressenti, les LYD 8 ont un son qui a plus d'air pour une même réponse en fréquence.
Côté réglages, je n'utilise pas les switch à l'arrière, ils restent sur 0, sauf celui qui règle la sensibilité en entrée et que je garde sur -6 dBs (de volume il y en a largement assez). Je fais les corrections appropriées aux conditions d'écoute de ma pièce avec un égaliseur dans le bus master de mon DAW. Environnement découte : Home studio.
P.S.- Elles sont plus belles en vrai que sur la photo. Construction solide.
Ik gebruik ze in de huiskamer en zit heerlijk te genieten van de detaills in het geluid. Daar waar de yamaha soms wat schreeuwerig klinkt is deze zijdezacht, met veel detaills in het midden zonder in te boeten op het kraakheldere hoog. De bas is heel strak en ook wel diep, maar niet zo diep als de HS8, wel weer beter gecontrolleerd.
Koren, zang en gitaren komen prachtig en verstaanbaar tot hun recht. Dat toch echt wel beter dan bij de HS8's. Maar goed ze zijn dan ook twee keer zo duur...
Op en top geluid!
Let op, als je ze gaat beluisteren, zorg dat de knopjes op de achterkant goed staan, anders wordt er (te) veel laag afgeknepen en denk je: waar zijn de (diepe) bassen?
