Dynaudio Core 7 Active Studio Monitor
Wrote the following about Dynaudio Core 7 Active Studio Monitor
I've been using Active speakers in a non-professional set up for the past 12 years.

These only turned up a few hours ago, but I love them already. They are not in the ideal location, that will change when I re configure the room and put some first reflection diffusion in.

They are solid lumps of lovely industrial design. Plugged into a SMSL SU-8 DAC from a Mac Mini and used SoundSource to control the multi-sources running on my machine.

They certainly have some power behind them. I've turned the dip's on the rear right down as I'm in a small room 5m x 2.4m. Bit of boundary gain, but will change the tilt of the speakers when they have loosened up.

No port boom or chuffing at quite loud volumes. Clear, crisp and clinical. Which is exactly what I want from a speaker.

No complex programming and few simple dip switches and the opportunity later to do room correction with external devices. But, as I won't have them too loud and will use them near field ( about 1.3m ).

I'll come back later ( if I can ) and review when they have loosened up a little.
