The Dynaudio BM5 MK3 active studio monitor adds a piece of craftsmanship to any self-respecting studio. The BM5 has a 7-inch woofer that can go as low as 42 Hz, which is beneficial for large-scale projects in particular. At the top end, it's nothing to scoff at either, boasting an impressive 24 kHz which offers plenty of space for your high-frequency audio. That velvety Dynaudio sound with a wide frequency response paves the road for a professional-sounding mix. The audio connection is XLR, but an RCA connection is also available, which is handy for DJs. You can adjust the sound imagery to perfection by means of a variety of switches. In short, the Dynaudio monitor is an investment you won't regret!

Aan de achterzijde heb je een aantal opties om ze af te stemmen op je ruimte. Of puur omdat je graag wat meer laag hoort of iets dergelijks. Zo heb je dipswitches voor Laag, mid en hoog. Ook kun je achter op het volume regelen en is er een aansluiting voor een remote!
Wat ook handig is is dat er een 'auto sleep' functie op zit op energie te besparen. Daarintegen kun je deze functie ook gewoon uitzetten als je hier niet in geinteresseerd bent.
Al met al ben ik zeer tevreden. Voor mij ging het tussen Yamaha hs7's en Dynaudio Bm5's. Ik heb ze beiden gehoord (zowel Bm5 MKII's als MK III's) en de dynaudio's waren voor mij zonder twijfel de winnaar. In deze prijscategorie zijn dit echt te gekke monitors!
De Dynaudio's zijn wat compacter van formaat, maar geven een super groot geluid.
Ondanks dat de woofer iets kleiner is dan die van de JBL's is er een goede lage frequentie weergave.
Iedeaal voor de wat kleinere ruimte.
En ik vindt persoonlijk dat de Dynaudio er ook nog eens goed uitzien.
