General

The prize-winning Adam A7 is one of the most successful monitors in Adam history, and its successor, the A7X, is proving to be even better! This set includes two of these near-field, two-way active monitors, ensuring crystal-clear audio and immense detail while the bass tones are powerful and precise.

A7X driver technology

The great thing about the A7X is the X-ART tweeter. The 'X' in the name stands for 'eXtended frequency response' and 'ART' stands for Accelerating Ribbon Technology. This means that the ribbon tweeter diaphragm can move so quickly, it's capable of reaching frequencies of up to 50 kHz! What's more, the X-ART tweeter is incredibly efficient and can achieve high maximum sound pressure levels.

Studio monitor integration

The redesigned 7-inch midwoofer has been given a much larger voice coil (1.5 inches to be exact) which is driven by an amplifier with twice as much capacity as its predecessor. This combination offers impressive audio and sound pressure levels with virtually noise-free music reproduction.

What can i say, I have listened to alot of monitors but this is the clearest in terms of clarity, the high frequencies are lovely and smooth, and the entire frequency response is very nice to listen to (no fatigue) whilst still being importantly analytic for production purposes.

Voor mijn muziekproductie heb ik de Adam A7X studio monitors aangeschaft, voornamelijk op basis van talloze reviews, blogs en video's. Veel mensen beschrijven het geluid van deze monitors als '3D'. In eerste instantie wist ik niet precies wat ik me hierbij voor moest stellen, maar zodra je het geluid hoort begrijp je het meteen. Elk instrument krijgt namelijk een apart plekje in de mix, wat ideaal is voor producers en mixing engineers. De welbekende 'Ribbon tweeter' van Adam audio zorgt voor een glashelder geluid, zonder dat je 'luister moe' wordt. Tevens zijn de low-frequencies, voor de grootte van deze monitor, zeer goed. Wat fijn is, is dat de lucht van de bas er aan de voorzijde uit komt en dat de volume en de aan/uit knop aan de voorkant bevestigd zijn. Het enige minpuntje is dat de volume knop, voor deze prijs, van wat hogere kwaliteit had mogen zijn. Echter is dit voor mij geen probleem, aangezien ik hem op 0db laat staan. Je kan linksom, je kan rechtsom maar de A7X monitor van Adam audio is de tien met een gouden griffel.

Uitstekende speakers. Goede separatie van instrumenten. Goede balans tussen hoog/mid en laag. Aan/uit knop aan de voorkant: brilliant. Gebruik ze zowel als studio monitoren als computer speakers. Aanrader!

Geweldige monitors. Alles dat je in de recenties hoort is waar, maar hoe beschrijf je het? Het is super 3D, je voelt en hoort de lucht in het high end en je hoort en voelt het low end. Ik hoef nu eindelijk niet te gissen tijdens het mixen, en de mixen vertalen zich perfect naar de echte wereld. Nadeel: al je mix fouten worden op pijnlijke wijze zeer duidelijk, als je ze beluistert op deze A7X :)

heb het setje met standaards gekocht
Is even wennen maar ik hoor nu bv duidelijk een kick en een bas
Vreemd , maar wel erg tof
Maw erg fijne monitoren .Nu nog mijn kamer akoestisch behandelen :)
De standaards
Tja
Zwaar metaal, ontkoppeling van desktop, juiste luister hoogte ect
Maar ik denk dat de boxen wat zwaar zijn voor deze standaards aangezien ze inmekaar gegroved zijn met slechts 4 dunne boutjes die imo bij wat ruigere behandeling zomaar kunnen breken
Dus voorzichtigheid geboden !

Ben totaal verliefd op deze monitors. Net wat meer dan duizend euro aan een paar speakers was wel even schrikken, maar een jaar later ben ik er nog steeds onwijs blij mee.

Ze klinken helder, nauwkeurig en zien er ook nog is lekker 'sturdy' uit ;)

Je recherchais une paire de monitor pour mon home studio en complément de mon caisson krk 12s

J ai d abord commandé les Adam t8v

Mais il me manquait de la définition et de la dynamique

J ai fini par les renvoyer et j ai pris ces a7x

La différence de prix est justifiée

J ai gagné à tous les niveaux définition spectre stéréo dynamique

Elles descendent assez bas pour déconnecter le caisson selon le type de musique mais l ajout du caisson avec partimonie ça matche vraiment

Je pense les garder quelques années
