General

The Yamaha L series certainly builds on Yamaha's many years of experience in the area of acoustic guitars. The Custom models are the crown jewels of the series, made by master artisans who really pulled out all the stops with material selection and the finishes featured on these instruments. This LL56 Custom ARE takes the cake on all fronts. For starters, it features a rare and melodious solid Engelmann spruce top. Next, luxurious abalone position markers and likewise abalone body bindings add charm and class. Furthermore, the 5-piece neck features an ebony fingerboard, which plays very comfortably thanks to its fine wood grain and also offers a snappy sound response. Finally, you can protect this investment and take it everywhere with you thanks to the included soft case.

Yamaha LL56 Custom ARE: features

With its powerful original jumbo body, the LL56 Custom is capable of great dynamic force. We're not saying this western guitar is a howler though, because its sound is balanced and sparkling in every way - with credit to the solid top and the solid rosewood sides and back. The beautiful natural finish was achieved with nitrocellulose lacquer for a great gloss look, and the headstock features lovely gold-plated tuners (TM-67G). A beautiful abalone Yamaha logo is the cherry on top of the headstock, and on the back of the headstock you'll find a volute for added stability.

Acoustic Resonance Enhancement

As if the Engelmann spruce wasn't already good enough, Yamaha decided to make it even better by applying their own Acoustic Resonance Enhancement procedure. This process is done by carefully adjusting the temperature, air pressure and moisture of the wood to change its molecular structure for optimal acoustics. In such a way, the brand new LL56 Custom ARE comes out of the box with the rich, full sound of the best vintage guitars. Really, the Yamaha LL56 Custom ARE doesn't need any explanation. Anyone who plays it will be carried away and inspired.
