General
The Yamaha FG820 SB steel-string guitar with striking Sunset Blue finish has a powerfully resonating solid spruce top and warm-sounding mahogany sides and back with cream-coloured bindings. The last two features are what sets this model apart from the rest of the FG800 range, but other than that, it offers the same sublime construction and attention to detail as any Yamaha instrument.
FG series steel-string guitars
This FG820 by Yamaha is the product of half a century of experience and know-how. The very first FG models were extremely well-received when they were originally launched, and there were very few other manufacturers around that could build guitars of that quality for such a reasonable price. The FG820 has an enhanced scalloped bracing for better projection of the mid and low tones, a more slender neck and rounded fret edges for increased playing comfort.
