General
The Heritage Series G12S steel-string acoustic from Washburn is built with exacting standards, and topped with solid mahogany, to shape a full sound with an extra-thick layer of warmth. The mahogany body has been finished with a matching mahogany neck and an ovangkol fretboard to support and deepen the natural warmth and, since this is a grand auditorium shaped guitar, all that depth is rounded off by the kind of shimmering high-end and detailed dynamics that's so well-loved by fingerpicking guitarists as well as strummers. This guitar also offers the smooth playability of a tight-feeling, comfortable neck, as well as the snug feel of the resonance chamber. For a guitar that comes at a more than reasonable price, the G12S is an instrument that packs masses of character.

The neck has a natural finish that contrasts beautifully with the rest of the body. If you want one, you'll have to be quick though, because only 68 of these have been made!
