General

Small in size and big in sound, the Washburn GM55K G-Mini 55 Koa is the perfect travel companion for any musician-come-globetrotter. This Comfort Series travel guitar has an all-koa resonance chamber and a mahogany neck with an enony fretboard for warm, balanced sound with sparkling highs, while a quarter-sawn spruce bracing pattern allows the top all the room needed for maximum resonance, extra bass and more harmonics. There's a beautifully finished cut-out in the body that serves as a snug and ergonomic arm rest, as well as an inventive cutaway that provides eased access to the highest frets without reducing the size of the body too much. The GM55K is clearly designed to be a complete 7/8-size guitar that's remarkably impressive in terms of sound and playability and comes ready to travel with an included gig bag.
