While so affordable, it's shocking, the mahogany body of the Tanglewood TWCR acoustic guitar boasts shockingly expensive, warm sound. Built to provide the budget-conscious beginner with the full support of great sound and playability while they get to grips with the fine art of pop, rock, blues, country, folk, indie, or whatever floats your boat, this model even comes coated in a stylish, vintage-look Whiskey Barrel Burst Satin finish.
The TWCR D: High Playing Comfort
The dreadnought body shape has a snug and secure feel while the 43mm-wide nut and satin-gloss finished neck feels snug and smooth in the fret hand. The wider-than-average resonant box, meanwhile, backs up that familiar, warm and sparkling acoustic sound with plenty of volume whether you're chugging chords around the proverbial camp fire or nailing scales on the sofa.
Warm Sound
The hand-selected mahogany soundboard of the Tanglewood TWCR D is what injects its sound with sparkle, while the mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and techwood fretboard add delicious warmth.

The neck has a natural finish that contrasts beautifully with the rest of the body. If you want one, you'll have to be quick though, because only 68 of these have been made!
