With the coastline S6 you get a tasteful steel-string guitar with a dreadnought body. This Seagull was handcrafted in Canada and features a solid spruce top that was pressure tested for optimal sound and exceptional response. That means you know you're getting a euphonious guitar with spruce that provides a beautiful, bright sound.

Seagull Coastline S6 Spruce: characteristics

The fresh sound of this guitar is provided by the spruce top, together with the laminated 3-ply Canadian cherry wood used for the sides and back. The latter wood type is used for more mild undertones, and thanks to the larger size of the dreadnought body, the sound comes together beautifully. As such, this is an excellent instrument to use for lead parts and for vocal accompaniment. Silver Leaf Maple was used for the neck, which is joined by a 21-fret rosewood fretboard.

Finish

Seagull guitars are famous for their high-quality finishes. The Coastline S6 Spruce was also finished with care to ensure it would serve as the optimal musical companion. The natural look features a semi-gloss Custom Polish Finish, which creates a refined, glossy surface. Moreover, the neck was also finished by hand with a satin gloss layer for maximum playing comfort. Of course, it wouldn't be a Seagull guitar without the characteristic tapered headstock, which pulls the strings straighter over the string nut for more tuning stability.
