In their Dirty '30s Series, Recording King offer the affordable yet dynamic steel-string Single 0 acoustic guitar with a spruce top, bone nut and Harmonella stencil position markers. Besides the glued nato neck, the fingerboard, bridge and other parts that shape this flattop are made using ecologically aware materials. Sustainable whitewood form the back and sides to provide a character similar to pine wood, while the fingerboard is made with a material called revebond. This all results in a clear, rounded sound that suits both finger-picking or strumming playing styles.

Monday 19 October 2015Fans of punk in general, and Tim Armstrong in particular, are in for a treat. Fender has created a new version of the Tim Armstrong Hellcat in a matte black finish. The neck has a natural finish that contrasts beautifully with the rest of the body. If you want one, you'll have to be quick though, because only 68 of these have been made!
