General

The super-comfortable and compact parlor body of the Merida Extreme Junior Series J1P acoustic guitar has been topped with the deluxe feature of a torrefied solid sitka spruce soundboard, where the wood has been slow-roasted in an oxygen-free environment to remove the moisture from the wood and alter the composition, giving this guitar the sound of a fully-played in, naturally aged model. This, combined with the sapele back and sides ensure the kind of warmth and definition that's loved by blues, folk, or just finger-picking guitarists. Coated in a subtle open-pore finish, this character-packed model is somehow offered at an entry-level price.
