If you're more familiar with the neck of a Strat than an acoustic guitar, Fender's All-Mahogany Redondo Player offers a smooth and affordable transition, a modern look, and warm acoustic sound. Straight out of the California Series, this electro-acoustic, steel-string model has a fresh paint-job and a C-profile mahogany neck, walnut fretboard and a Strat headstock for a supple electric-guitar-style playing feel.
The Redondo Player All-Mahogany
The mahogany dreadnought body has been topped with more mahogany to shape a rich and detailed foundation sound, while a GraphTech-made NuBone bridge saddle and string nut guarantee excellent overall balance by keeping the high-end present and the low-end open. To amplify the sound of the Redondo Player with consistent accuracy, Fender have fitted a Fishman CD-1 preamp and tone controls to dial in the sound of the under-saddle piezo pickup.

Monday 19 October 2015Fans of punk in general, and Tim Armstrong in particular, are in for a treat. Fender has created a new version of the Tim Armstrong Hellcat in a matte black finish. The neck has a natural finish that contrasts beautifully with the rest of the body. If you want one, you'll have to be quick though, because only 68 of these have been made!
