The elegant parlor-style form of the Fender California Series Malibu Classic electro-acoustic offers snug, Fender-grade playability backed up by a slim body and a Strat-style C-profile neck finished in a buttery-smooth satin-gloss and with a flatter, modern fretboard radius.

The Malibu Classic: All-Solid, High Dynamics, and an Exclusive Preamp

It's little wonder that artists including surf-guitar legend, Dick Dale and punk guitarist, Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio/Blink 182), have been seen with a Malibu Classic in their hands. Since this is the Classic version, it comes with a more luxurious, all-solid construction to build a refined and resonant foundation sound, able to add richness and high-range definition to the style of any fingerpickers or plectrum players. On stage, the voice of this guitar is just as balanced, due to the Fishman-Fender developed pickup and preamp system, which has been specifically calibrated to match the Malibu body shape.

The neck has a natural finish that contrasts beautifully with the rest of the body. If you want one, you'll have to be quick though, because only 68 of these have been made!
