Fender's range of acoustic guitars is continuing to grow and improve, with more models meaning theres something for everyone. If you're looking for a slightly smaller travel-sized model, then the CT-60S from Fender's Classic Design series is sure to appeal to you. It's based on an auditorium guitar and has a scale length of 23.5 inches, yet still delivers a full, well-balanced sound. Not only is it easier to take with you, it's ideal for smaller players too.

Classic Design CT-60S: wood types and sound

A solid spruce top ensures that this model has a bright, articulate sound that's full of life. The sides and back are made of mahogany to give the CT-60S plenty of projection with excellent definition. The neck is made of mahogany too, and features a walnut fretboard that adds just a touch of warmth to the proceedings. All in all, the CT-60S is perfect for those looking for a smaller-sized acoustic guitar model.
