You can trust Fender to build a reliable, great-sounding, beautiful guitar for a friendly price. You can tell this by simply looking at the Fender CD-60 SB (Sunburst), from its Classic Design series. This series comprises numerous acoustic guitars, each of them built according to the same traditional, tried and tested recipe for tonal brilliance and playing-excellence. This is why even the most affordable models from this series produce a surprisingly rich sound while being incredibly comfortable to play. What's more, this SB edition of the successful CD-60 is equipped with an immensely stylish Sunburst finish.
The rich sound of the CD-60 SB
There are two major types of acoustic guitars in this world: the classical and the steel-string. With its steel strings that provide the distinctive sparkling steel-string guitar sound, the CD-60 falls into the latter category. Because of its sound, this type of guitar is commonly heard in pop and rock music. In the case of the CD-60, its spruce top provides extra emphasis on the clarity of the sound while the spacious dreadnought body produces the essential depth. Lastly, the special Graphtech NuBone saddle (contrary to many plastic ones) transfers the string resonance to the body in such a way that the sound isn't subtly dampened, retaining its rich characteristics.
