General

Originally built in the USA back in the '60s, the acoustic Epiphone Texan is loved deeply by those in the know. Since they are now so hard to come by, Epiphone treat us to this faithful reissue of the USA-built Texan dreadnought. This steel-string guitar has an all solid-wood build with a dovetail bound neck. The core of its rich tone is shaped by a solid spruce top with added light accents from the mahogany neck, back and sides while the uber-natural playing feel is provided by the authentically '60s Round D-profile shaping of the neck. The authenticity is carried through in details like the parallelogram inlays, bone string nut and saddle and the tortoiseshell-style '60s Texan pickguard.
