Algemeen:
De Crafter J-15/N is een akoestische westerngitaar met jumbo-stijl body. Het bovenblad van deze gitaar is van massief Cederhout en de zij- en achterkant bestaan uit Paldao. De houtsoort Paldao komt voor in onder andere Zuid-Oost Azië, de Filipijnen en Maleisië. De klank die Paldao produceert is te vergelijken met de klankeigenschappen van mahoniehout: warm, helder en levendig.

Crafter J-15/N:
De body van een jumbo model gitaar is een stuk groter dan die van de standaard dreadnought, en vergelijkbaar met het model Triple Q. Door zijn grotere body, en dus meer inhoud, levert de Crafter J15-N meer volume. Jumbo modellen gitaar zijn met name geschikt voor slagpartijen omdat ze veel bas en treble produceren, maar minder mids. De hals van de Crafter J15/N is van mahoniehout en heeft een palissander (Indian Rosewood) toets. In de donkere palissander toets zijn de zogeheten Wood Snow Drop positiestippen ingelegd, en deze inlay werd ook gebruikt rondom het klankgat.

Afwerking
Voor de afwerking van deze naturelkleurige Crafter J-15/N gebruikten de gitaarbouwers van Crafter zijdeglans, waardoor hij een mooi voorkomen heeft. De randen van de body zijn voorzien van witte bindings en deze dienen niet alleen als stevige stootrand, maar ook als mooie versiering. Het stemmen van deze jumbo body gitaar gebeurt soepel dankzij de hoge kwaliteit goudkleurige gegoten stemmechanieken. De J-15/N akoestische wersterngitaar wordt geleverd met D’Addario EXP11 Light snaren.
