De Crafter GA8 is een “Grand Auditorium” model akoestische gitaar met een massief sparrenhouten bovenblad. Wilt u iets anders dan de standaard naturel kleur, dan is dit hoogglans zwarte model een zeer aangename optie. Het Grand Auditorium model heeft nagenoeg dezelfde afmetingen als een standaard Dreadnought model. De taille is smaller gemaakt waardoor de gitaar kleiner oogt. Maar hierdoor krijgt u ook een wat fellere klank en meer hoog. De smalle taille zorgt er tevens voor dat de gitaar comfortabeler op uw schoot ligt.

U denkt misschien, wat voor een meerwaarde heeft een solid top? Een solid top betekent dat het bovenblad over de gehele dikte uit één stuk hout bestaat. Een massieve top is in tegenstelling tot gelamineerd hout veel flexibeler, waardoor de klankkast beter kan resoneren. Hierdoor krijgt u meer volume en zijn uw akkoorden voller en warmer van klank. Daarnaast krijgt de gitaar een betere sustain. Dit betekent dat uw noten langer blijven doorklinken nadat u deze heeft aangeslagen.

Het oog wil natuurlijk ook wat
De GA8-BK is uitgevoerd in een prachtige zwarte lak met strakke witte bindings langs de randen van de body en de hals. De donkere palissander toets is ingelegd met gekleurde abalone parelmoeren positie stippen. Hierdoor kunt u in één oogopslag zien waar u zich op de hals bevindt. Natuurlijk wilt u uw lak beschermen tegen krassen veroorzaakt door uw plectrum of uw vingers. Daarom is de gitaar voorzien van een dunne sierlijk uitgesneden rode tortoise slagplaat.
