General

Roland have equipped their compact RD-64 digital piano with the feel and sound of a real grand piano. It features a lot of the same characteristics as larger digital piano models. The tested SuperNATURAL technology simulates the sound of acoustic and vintage electric pianos in great detail. The 64-key Ivory Feel-G keyboard gives the RD-64 the feel of a real piano, and provides the same resistance that is caused when a hammer hits a string.

Transport of the RD-64

One of the main benefits of the Roland RD64 is its lightweight and compact construction, which enables you to easily transport it from your home to your gigs. Use this digital piano for solo performances or to add a convincing piano sound to your band. With the 2-band equalizer and the various effects you can add some colour to your sound. The RD-64 can be used as a full-fledged MIDI master keyboard as well. It works exceedingly well in combination with the INTEGRA-7 sound module and the JUPITER 80/50 synthesizers.

A complete digital piano

The RD-64 comes with an accessory sustain pedal, which works well in combination with the damper resonance simulation functionality. The digital piano also offers two additional foot pedal inputs, enabling you to connect a complete set of three pedals (optional RPU-3). In order to make yourself heard, you can connect the piano to a mixer or to a keyboard amplifier via the 6.3mm line outputs. The RD64 digital piano is fitted with a headphone output, MIDI-out, a USB connector and an AUX-in (RCA) as well.

Roland RD-64 digital piano
Wrote the following about Roland RD-64 digital piano
