General

This eye-catcher is the Black Reverse edition of Korg's 73-key Stage Vintage Piano. The Korg SV-1-73 is a professional digital stage piano that reproduces the sounds of 36 acoustic pianos, electric pianos, clavinets, organs and other vintage instruments in minute detail, including small mechanical noises. For an optimal, natural feel, the piano is equipped with an RH3 Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 keyboard, which means the keys have the same comfortable response as those of an acoustic piano. Thanks to its reversed appearance - the white keys are black, the black keys are red - this stage piano will certainly get you noticed.

The sounds of the Korg SV-1-73 Black Reverse

The acoustic pianos of the Korg SV-1-73 Black Reverse - including a European and a Japanese grand and an upright piano - sound remarkably realistic, as do the samples of the Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer EP200 and CP80. The organ multi-samples, which have been equally accurately sampled, enable you to produce vintage jazz and rock sounds, especially if you combine them with the characteristically growling rotary speaker effects. If you really want to be able to fully express yourself musically, you can even connect a foot switch, damper or expression pedal.

Controls, effects and connectors

The SV-1-73 Black Reverse can be quickly and easily operated by means of practical controls, such as a set of preset buttons that are particularly handy on stage. Despite the great user-friendliness of the Korg Stage Vintage Piano, its sounds can be fully adjusted to suit your preferences using effects like chorus, reverb, amp modelling, tremolo, vibrato, rotary and equalizer. The special Editor/Librarian software even allows for exceptionally accurate edits and enables you to store and load new sounds (your own, or sounds provided by Korg or other SV1 users). The SV-1-73 Stage Vintage Piano Black Reverse features a number of different connectors, including XLR outputs, MIDI in/out, USB MIDI and three pedal connectors, and is supplied with a sustain pedal.
