General

Dexibell's VIVO S3 is a top-quality stage piano with 73 hammer-action keys that have three contact points giving them an authentic playing response. There are more than 80 highly-accurate sounds on board thanks to the True 2 Life tone generator that uses unique algorithms for sampling and modelling and gives you unlimited polyphony! More sounds can be accessed through Dexibell's sound library.

Sounds and effects

Among the sounds, you'll find pianos, organs, strings, guitars, wind and brass instruments as well as percussion. In addition to the extra ones you can find through Dexibell's sound library, you can use any that have the Sound Font file format. You can load them via the USB connector and upload MP3, WAV and AIFF files too. On board effects include 24 different types of reverb, 6x 17 DSP effects and 9 temperament types, all of which are customisable. Once you're happy with your changes, you can save sounds to the 1.5 GB Wave Memory bank.

Operation

The VIVO S3 has a control panel that's easy to use whether you're playing songs or using the recording function. There's also a Master EQ section and controls for MIDI files. The Chord Enhancer function adds extra notes to the chords you play. Other functions and controls include Split, Layer and Octave as well as pitch and modulation wheels.

Connectors

As you'd expect on a stage piano of this quality, the VIVO S3 has plenty of connection possibilities. There are three separate pedal inputs and two line outputs so that you can easily connect external speakers. We've already mentioned USB and MIDI functions so, of course, those connectors are on board too. You'll also find two headphone outputs (1x jack, 1x mini jack) and there's also an auxiliary input so that you can plug in a device like a smartphone or tablet. All in all, it's a stage piano that's easy to transport thanks to its weight of just 10 kg.
