General

Dexibell's flagship is the high-quality S-9 digital stage piano with top-notch, extra-long samples of various grand pianos, regular pianos and organs. It has the same setup as other stage pianos combined with tone wheel functions of the J7 combo organ. The keyboard consists of 88 Graded Hammer Action keys with ivory/ebony feel for an authentic playing feel. The S-9 has three sound sources for piano, tone wheel organ and classical/orchestral. It also features the brand's unique True 2 Life (T2L) technology that features extra-long (24-bit) samples of up to 15 seconds long, meaning no loops are used when holding a note for a long time. There are 85 built-in sounds and more than 100 organ presets available that can be expanded on with downloads from the Dexibell website.

Features of the Dexibell S-9

One of the first things you're bound to notice about the S-9 are its nine motorised faders. You can use them with the organ sounds or for adjusting other sounds, as a mixer, MIDI controller, or as an equalizer. All the effects are adjustable and you can always expect seamless transitions. The S-9 has a built-in audio player that reads WAV, MP3 and aiff files, but you can also stream music via Bluetooth or Audio In. The VIVO Editor and X-MURE apps (for iOS only) offer extra functionality and rhythm control.

Connections

Any modern stage piano these days has a wide variety connection options, and the S-9 is no exception. It's equipped with standard line outputs, jack connections and XLR outputs as well as four pedal connections for sustain, expression, morphing and an extra foot controller. You can also assign these via the MIDI input/out/thru or even via USB. Lastly, there's a USB port for data storage.

Tips or comments about this product

Dexibell VIVO Stage S-9 stage piano
Wrote the following about Dexibell VIVO Stage S-9 stage piano
Top klaviertje. Fijne machine. Dik tevreden lig.
