General

Thanks to this multi cable, there is no more need for a multitude of tangled cables on stage. It offers twelve lines in and four lines out, enabling you to simultaneously send microphone signals to the mixer and floor monitors back to the stage. The cable has an ample length of 15 metres and features a rugged, wear-proof stagebox. The stagebox is entirely made of iron and has a handle for easy transport. An iron cable tie is also included for additional ease and neat transport. All in all, this multi cable is a must-have for a tidy stage.

Wrote the following about DAP professional XLR multi cable 12-in 4-out 15 metres

Bij voorbaat:tot nu toe goed gebruikt omdat we niet alle 12 ingangen gebruiken en we dus om onderstaande problemen heen konden werken. 2 repetities en 2 middagen buitenoptredens tot nu toe.

Maar goed, dat stevige valt tegen... bij normaal gebruik vallen sommige contacten naar binnen toe omdat ze slechts op hun plek worden gehouden door een klein stalen klemmetje. Goed, vier schroeven, kastje open, klemmetjes weer op hun plek en je kunt weer, maar het is me nu al drie keer gebeurd dat er twee of drie zo naar binnen zakten...

En die "ijzeren kabelbinder"... er zitten drie eindjes geplastificeerd staaldraad bij (type waslijn) die je er naar eigen inzicht omheen kan knopen.

Valt me tegen (de prijs is ook wel vrij laag, maar toch meer verwacht gezien de woorden "professioneel", "geen problemen meer", "zeer stevige stagebox" (ala, de stalen behuizing kan niet veel aan stuk nee) en "geen last van slijtage".

(mail verstuurd aan de klantenservice, ben benieuwd of het een productiefout is, maar gezien hoe het in elkaar zit denk ik meer constructiefout helaas en moet ik 'm of zelf gaan modificeren of opschalen een naar een duurder model...
