General

The PST X Swiss Splash cymbal has a bright, warm sound and a fast response. Its strategically placed holes add an airy quality and give it a medium volume range and a short sustain. If you're looking to add accents to your playing, this model is ideal.

PST X Swiss Series

Cymbals from the Paiste PST X series are made of a B8 alloy, with the exception of the Pure Bells. The holes in the cymbals aren't just for show. The position and size of each hole is carefully calculated by Paiste's Sound Development team for a truly unique sound. While each of the cymbals has its own character, in general, the PST X range has an airy and warm sound that can be explosive too. In contrast, the Pure Bells are made of aluminium and have a warm and soft character.

Tips or comments about this product

Please make sure to never hit a splash cymbal with too much force. As it is quite small, it may not be able to process the amount of vibrations that it creates properly, which could cause it to crack.
