De Paiste 2002 8 inch splash is het schoolvoorbeeld van de classic rock splash-sound. Dit effect-bekken uit de zeer populaire professionele 2002-serie doet het dan ook uitstekend in rock, blues en hardrock. Maar ook in diverse andere stijlen levert deze warme, heldere en explosieve splash goed werk. Hij reageert bovendien prettig op uw aanslag, heeft een gematigd volume en is zowel live als in de studio te gebruiken. Met zijn 8 inch diameter is de Paiste 2002 splash 8 inch de kleinste en dus hoogste splash uit de serie.

De 2002-cymbals van Paiste
Hele generaties rock-drummers zijn groot geworden met de 2002-bekkens van Paiste. Deze in 1971 geïntroduceerde cimbalen zijn gemaakt van B8 brons (CuSn8 Bronze). De Paiste 2002 was de eerste pro-serie die gebruikmaakte van deze hoge kwaliteit legering. B8 wordt daarom ook wel '2002 Bronze' genoemd. De bekkens produceren typische classic rock-sounds, maar zijn ook geschikt voor diverse andere stijlen. De klank is sprankelend, transparant, warm en sterk.
