General

Meinl's Byzance series is a line of professional cymbals and offers a wide variety of different timbres while guaranteeing a traditional European sound. All cymbals in this series are hand-hammered, ensuring that each individual cymbal has a unique sound. Like the rest of the Byzance cymbals, this splash is made of B20 bronze, that consists of 80% copper and 20% tin, while it also features a traditional finish.

This Jazz Splash was developed to emulate that coveted vintage jazz sound: a papery attack that is not too brash, and a smooth spread. The result is a high-quality, dark yet colourful-sounding splash cymbal that is a must-have for serious Jazz drummers who want to liven up their fills and accents.
