The SS-200BB features the patented Smart Adapter system, which allows you to adjust the height of the stand from 35 mm to 38 mm. Wrote the following about Hercules Stands SS-200BB speaker stand set of 2

Heb deze statieven gekocht omdat mijn ervaring met Hercules tot nu altijd zeer positief was (stevig materiaal, goed gebouwd)
(Heb een contrabas-staander en saxofoon-staander van Hercules)

Echter ben ik toch teleurgesteld in deze staanders, voor 95euro moet je niet heel veel verwachten maar ik had wel gehoopt dat deze een upgrade zouden zijn van mijn huidige SkyTec-staanders.

Echter buigen de verbindingsstukken tussen poten en onderste buis al redelijk hard door als ik er slechts een luidspreker van 15kg opzet... Laat staan dat ik er dan (volgens de specificaties) 45kg opzet. Theoretisch gaat dat misschien allemaal , maar vertrouwen doet ik het allerminst. (Duurzaamheid met plooien zal ook niet erg fantastisch zijn met metaal..) Mijn huidige SkyTec-staanders van 15euro/stuk buigen zelfs zo goed als niet door.

Daarmee heb ik ze maar retour gestuurd en gaat mijn zoektocht naar een paar degelijke statieven verder. Hercules heeft met deze statieven toch een grote steek laten valllen.
