General
This dB Technologies Flexsys Presenter system is an active speaker set consisting of two Flexsys F8 active speakers and two SUB 12D active subwoofers. This set is ideal for artists, singers and small travelling discotheques. Despite the fact that the set contains four pieces, it still doesn't take up much room, and the complete set can easily fit in the average car.
Flexsys F8 active speakers
The Flexsys Presenter system features two black Flexsys F8 active speakers that were specially designed to be part of an active speaker set with subwoofers The F8 is a two-way speaker for mid and high frequencies. Each speaker is equipped with an 8-inch woofer (with 1.5-inch voice coil) and a 1-inch driver, which delivers a clear, sparkling sound. Furthermore, every F8 is supported by Digipro amplification technology, with 50W amplification for the trebles and 150 watts for the bass. Each speaker produces a maximum sound pressure of 121 dB (SPL), and the frequency response ranges from 75 to 20,000 Hz (-10 dB). Moreover, the F8s feature flat and processed system presets, XLR and 6.3mm jack signal inputs and outputs and a 36mm pole mount. Finally, the housing features a slanted side so the speakers can double as monitors.
SUB 12D active subwoofers
This set contains two SUB 12D active bandpass subwoofers, each with super tight bass and 400 watts of power. Via the 12-inch woofer, a maximum sound pressure of 127 dB (SPL) is produced, and the frequency range goes from 40 to 150 Hz. Furthermore, each sub also has a built-in DSP processor, limiter and phase switch. Moreover, you'll also find two XLR inputs and two XLR outputs on each device, along with a 36mm pole mount.

De bas weergave is verder ok, crossover ook, hij geeft bijvoorbeeld geen stem geluid door.
Kortom: technologie is goed maar komt volledig niet tot zijn recht door de slechte behuizing.
Niet alleen omdat hij als 'top' erg erg erg goed zijn werk kan doen, maar ook omdat hij UITMUNTED als monitor functioneert. Erg goed geluid (wat je ook wel mag verwachten voor deze prijscatagorie) en een professionele degelijke bouw. Ik moest echter wel na drie optredens even alle boutjes vast draaien maar heb er daarna nooit meer last van gehad ;-)
Fijne afmetingen met zeer grote geluidsopbrengst. Ik ben er heel erg tevreden mee, maar vind ze wel een beetje stevig geprijsd. vandaar 'slechts' 4 sterren te nuanceren als 5 sterren kwaliteit en 3 voor de prijs.
Afgelopen Woensdag 21 Maart,
heb ik bij Bax-Shop na een goede overweging de DB Technologies SUB12D gekocht.
Ik gebruik deze Sub-Woofer in combinatie met de Behringer B212D (A) op een ruimte van 55 m2.
En ik moet zeggen dat het een hele mooie Basweeergave geeft,niet superdiep maar gewoon zuiver.
