General

Keyboard players have had to wait for a long time, but the Tyros 5 is finally here! In order to provide the full sound experience Yamaha also offers this high-end sound system. For this Entertainer PA system Yamaha didn't settle for anything less than the best, with their DXR 8 active speakers plus DXS active subwoofer that provide a total of 3,150 watts of professional sound, with the craftsmanship and reliability you know you can expect from Yamaha. This is truly the ideal system for owners of the Tyros 1 through 5, and it can also be used with other keyboards as well.

Yamaha DXR 8 active speaker

The DXR is an 8-inch active speaker that produces a lot of sound despite its compact size, thanks to the bi-amp system. Furthermore, it features a broad frequency range of 57 Hz to 20 kHz and offers a built-in 3-channel mixer with an AUX input for your MP3 player. Via the 48-bit DSP you can easily adjust the display mode, which is handy if you want to use the DXR8 as a floor monitor or in a PA set. Finally, the HPF values are also adjustable so you can boost high tones from a given frequency, which adds extra harmony in your end mix when you combine the speaker with a Yamaha DXS subwoofer.

Yamaha DXS 12 active subwoofer

The powerful, compact DXS 12 subwoofer is equipped with a D class amplifier with dynamic power of no fewer than 950 watts! Its 12-inch woofer is placed in acoustically optimised band-pass housing, and this DSX12 additionally features two XLR inputs and a variety of output options. Via the D-X-Sub low frequency you can reach extreme low-end frequencies from 47 Hz to 160 Hz. Along with that, you can also choose a low-frequency boost of an Xtended LF functionality. In short, this is the ideal sub to optimally produce the bass tones of your Tyros 5!
