General
The Fender Passport Event is a compact, portable all-in-one sound system that was based on Fender's popular Passport 300 PRO and is equipped with several practical extra features. For instance, it has a built-in Bluetooth receiver for streaming music wirelessly. This system has a power of 300 watts RMS, so it is powerful enough for a wide range of applications in practice rooms, churches, schools, pubs, small venues and during an event or presentation, for instance. For a grand sound, this system can be expanded with an active subwoofer.
Passport Event: Portable
The most practical feature of the Fender Passport Event is that it can be assembled into one whole that looks like a suitcase and has a robust handle on top for quick and easy transportation. Despite its high power the Passport Event is remarkably lightweight thanks to its efficient class-D amplifier that eliminates the need for massive heat sinks.
Subwoofer Output
Especially for the Passport systems, Fender developed the PS-512 subwoofer. This sub is easily connected to the subwoofer output on the Fender Passport Event that doesn't just send the signal to the subwoofer but also sets the cross-over frequency. This enables the Fender Passport Event to focus on the mids and trebles, resulting in a more defined sound.
