General
With the 3,400W Electro voice ELX1 12 A sound system, you get great sound in an easy-to-set-up format. Because it is an active speaker system you don't need any external amplifiers, as both the speakers and the subs are equipped with built-in amps. This set consists of two ELX 112P speakers, two ELX 118P subwoofers and two ASP 1 distance rods. It is ideal for bands, mobile DJs, theatres, conference halls and the like. Thanks to the robust internal amplifiers, all you have to do is connect a signal cable and a power cable, and you're good to go.
ELX 112P
This active 12-inch speaker is fashioned of wood and equipped with a metal grille for protecting the woofer during transport. It is also equipped with handles to make it easy to manage. This full-range speaker produces a sound that could be described in one word as 'musical', and despite its smaller 12-inch woofer, it delivers a beautiful, tight bass with a defined sound. In combination with the subwoofers, the ELX 112P delivers an impressive, detailed sound. Enjoy plenty of versatility to boot, as the 112P can also be used as a floor monitor.
ELX 118P
The ELX 118P is an active subwoofer by Electro Voice that has been specifically designed to be combined with the ELX 112P full-range cabinets. It is equipped with an internal crossover so you can loop the signal to your full-range speakers without needing additional devices. All you have to do is choose the sub function on your ELX 112P to ensure optimal frequency division between your full-range speakers and your subwoofers. Using subwoofers makes your set suitable for mid-sized locations with up to 250 people. This combination creates a sound pressure that you would typically expect from a much larger system.

Solide gebouwd en een fantastisch geluid. Helder hoog en een mooie strakke bas en het kan knetter hard zonder dat het vervormd.
Een subjectieve staat m wel beter
Dat is zeker een stuk beter, echter de toppen kunnen meer hebben dan de subs kunnen bijdragen.
Voor mijn gevoel is de 700watt sub aan de lichte kant.
Voor een knal feest a 150 man kom je niet te kort met de subs, zowel binnen als in de open lucht geven ze een helder en strak geluid.
Enige nadeel is dat hij maar aan 1 kant een handvat heeft...
Rampzalig product. past gewoon niet goed op de ev subs. Onbegrijpelijk dat een bax dit durft te verkopen.
Dit is ook geen origineel ev product. Materiaal is te dun en de knevel is van zeer goedkoop plastic.
Wat betreft speaker statieven en tussen palen is er maar 1 merk: K&M
Qua geluid heeft de speaker (EQ-schakelaar op 'flat', niet 'scooped') een geweldig bereik, de bas is goed strak. De mids komen goed tot hun recht (belangrijk voor mij als gitarist). Alleen in het hoog miste ik soms iets detail naar mijn smaak.
Dankzij een verscheidenheid aan functies is de speaker zeer flexibel. Ik gebruik meestal beide ingangen (één van de monitortafel en één rechtstreeks van de voorversterker).
De speaker maakt een zeer stabiele indruk en heeft me de afgelopen 1,5 jaar nooit in de steek gelaten. Alles werkt nog perfect.
Het zou mooi zijn als er aan beide kanten handvatten zouden zijn, maar dat is helaas niet het geval. Met één handvat is de speaker nog steeds wel goed te hanteren.
Over het algemeen ben ik zeer tevreden en zou ik deze speaker zo opnieuw kopen.

een echte aanrader voor iedereen die een deftige luidspreker zoekt voor een deftige prijs. ik gebruik deze in mijn PA systeem voor de band en dit met mooi resultaat. makkelijk en lichtige luidsprekers een dikke 10 voor het totaalpakketje
Wat een super product!
Zelf heb ik 2 x de elx 118p subs en 2x de elx 115p tops,
Klinken gewoonweg vetjes ! strakke bass en enorm zuiver.
laat een zeer professionele klank en look na, vele complimenten gekregen, dit is wat iedereen moet hebben om een goede beginnende band te kunnen starten
