It really just comes down to a tube with a black coating. Yet it is ideal to use as a distance rod! This distance rod really comes in handy to create extra space between your passive speaker and subwoofer. In this way, the high tones get distributed over the audience and the subwoofer will make a connection with the floor. This creates a better sound!
