General
With their PPC412HP8, Orange gives us a cabinet that pairs perfectly with high-powered amplifier heads. This speaker cabinet is equipped with four 12-inch Celestion C12K100 speaker of 100 watts. Moreover, the cabinet can be used in stereo and produces an immense bass response and a very tight tone. Originally, the PPC412HP8 is designed for the 200W Orange Thunderverb, but it is also perfect for high gain and drop tunings in combination with other amplifiers. Its vast power, in both mono or stereo, ensures a versatile character that can deal with all types of music. In the words of a certain Jeremy C: Power!!!
Orange PPC412: Power Projection Cabinet
As they are made of 13-ply, 18mm thick Baltic Birch plywood, Orange speaker cabinets are built to last. The cabinet weighs over 45 kilos, yet is easy to manage thanks to the sturdy flushed handles. Also, the PPC412HP8 is fitted with anti-slip skids, which improve bass response and ensure optimal contact with the surface. Combined with the closed back, this speaker cabinet produces a powerful, focused sounds with many warm mid-rich tones. The orange Tolex plus the rugged woven grille cloth and Orange logo fully complete the traditional look.
