General

The Fender SC112 is a compact and robust 80-watt speaker cabinet from the Super Champ series. This cabinet is equipped with a 12-inch Celestion G12P-80 speaker in a housing that fits underneath your Super Champ X2 guitar amplifier top beautifully, thanks to both its dimensions and its looks. However, it'll also match any other amplifier with an 8-ohm output and an output power with a maximum of 80 watts.

SC112: portable cabinet with a vintage look and a fat sound

The Celestion speaker inside the Fender SC112 produces a neat and defined sound. The closed back helps to create additional volume and a stunning bass punch. The Super Champ SC112 has that well-known Fender styling with a black textured vinyl coating, silver grille cloth and chrome Fender logo. On top you'll find a rubber handle that makes it even easier to move this light, 13-kilo cabinet comfortably.

Wrote the following about Fender Super Champ SC112 1x 12-inch guitar speaker cabinet

Deels uit nostalgie, maar het meest vanwege het geluid heb ik deze speakerbox gekocht. Even getwijfeld tussen de combo en de losse versterker/speakerbox, aar toch gegaan voor de losse componenten. In de losse box zit een iets grotere speaker (12 inch, in de combo 10 inch).

Verder is het voordeel dat je de speakerbox op een andere plek kunt zetten en de versterker vlak bij je. In mijn geval op de zijtafel. Kan ik onder het TV kijken ook nog gitaarspelen....... Mijn vrouw wordt daar iets minder vrolijk van, maar ze kijkt tegenwoordig TV op de IPad met oortjes in, dus het gaat allemaal goed.

De gebreken die in het andere review staan heb ik niets van kunnen ontdekken. De kast oogt stevig en het geluid is prima

Dit kabinet is Fender onwaardig, spaanplaat rommel met wel een redelijk geluid. Binnen het jaar liet de bekleding achter los. Ik heb er een schop tegen tegen gegeven en een goede losse speaker voor in een eigenbouw kast (die ik nog had staan) voor in de plaats genomen. Mijn Fender Super Champ X2 klinkt nu veel beter.
Bax heeft het prima voor mij opgelost.
