General
The ENGL E112VB PRO Straight may be small but that doesn't stop it from dishing out huge sound. Much like its larger counterparts in the PRO Series, this compact 1x12 cab is made of 14 layers of Siberian birch ply and comes outfitted with the same speaker, namely the 12-inch Celestion Vintage 30. This unit is lauded for its tight bass and warm, rich harmonic mids while the trebles it reproduces are delightfully soft and not as aggressive compared to other models; ideal for both rhythm parts and leads. This "Black" edition of the E112V PRO is finished with a black, steel grille and a chrome ENGL badge.

As said, despite its modest dimensions, the E112VB PRO is able to shape up a deep sound and owes this to its robust, closed-back housing with extra thick walls. This speaker cab can easily manage up to 60 Watts of power at an 8-Ohm impedance and features a speaker jack input and a Thru output round the back. That's in case you'd like to hook up a second cabinet for more sound pressure, a fuller sound or when you've got an amplifier packing more than 60 Watts of power.
