General

The most important ingredient of the Yamaha LNS1455 (Black Shadow Sunburst) snare is its 100% oak shell. Compared to the famous Oak Custom series, this oak shell is even thicker, and as such it gives the Live Custom drums a remarkably deep, clear sound that's great for a strong, rich live sound. Of course such excellent work deserves a matching exterior, and that's what you get with the beautiful dark silver Absolute Lugs and a chic black lacquer finish.
