General

With the Tama MT137DBN Metalworks Black Chrome, you'll be getting a truly unique snare drum. This snare is part of Tama's Metalworks series, but this particular size is only available in limited numbers. The 13 x 7-inch snare drum is made of 1.2mm thick steel, which gives it a bright tone with a long sustain. This effect is enhanced by the use of triple-flanged hoops. With its 13 inches, this snare drum has a relatively small diameter, but its 7-inch depth still gives it a brutal character. The MT137DBN is part of Tama's special Limited series.

The Metalworks series distinguishes itself with its metal exterior. Not only is the shell made of steel, it also has a Black Nickel finish, which is also used on this snare drum's hardware. The black Evans Black Chrome batter head is just the icing on the cake.
