Sonor SSD13 14 x 5.25-ich Gavin Harrison Signature snare drum

During the design process, Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) let Sonor know that he wanted a snare drum that he could easily adjust to suit any musical situation. Hence, the Sonor SSD13 Gavin Harrison Signature snare drum combines classic elements with modern innovation. This 14 x 5.25-inch snare has a 6-ply shell with a special triple flanged steel Power Hoop with cutaways on the bottom. It also features the Sonor Dual Glide snare strainer, which allows you to change snare wires more quickly than ever before. The SSD13 14 x 5.25-inch 'Protean' Signature snare comes with three damping rings (light, medium and heavy), as well as two specially designed Protean drum keys, which make tuning the snare drum and changing the drumheads a much quicker and easier process.

Drumheads

This snare drum is handcrafted in Germany, and comes with a Remo CS batter head and a Remo Ambassador resonant head.
