General
The Sonor SSD 11 1405 PR is a 14" snare drum designed in collaboration with AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd. His recognisable style of drumming, which is a perfect fit for his band's powerful sound, has influenced many drummers over the past few decades. The SSD11 1450PR is based on Phil's favourite snare drum, the Sonor Horst Link Signature Brass, delivers a loud, focused, dry and cutting sound, and features die-cast hoops for a powerful attack.
SSD11 1405 PR: chrome-plated brass
With its 14" diameter and 5" depth, this snare drum has more to offer than a great sound alone. The modern double lugs feature the internal TuneSafe system, which helps keep the Phil Rudd signature snare drum in tune. Furthermore, this snare drum is made of 1mm-thick chrome-plated brass, and it features chrome hardware. On the side, you'll find the '80s style signature badge with Phil Rudd's autograph engraved on it.

Super rimshot/rimclick, gebruik de snare bij pop, rock, Blues en soul. Niks te klagen!
Zou de snarenmat wel vervangen door een puresound met 16 strainers. De meegeleverde vind ik teveel buzz geven.
De snare is zeer makkelijk te stemmen en raakt niet snel uit tune.
Ik gebruik de snare voor pop en rock. Blijft mooi staan in de muziek, met een vette rimshot.
Prijs/ kwaliteit is zeer goed. Kan deze snare een ieder aanbevelen.
