General

The HEK1480 Hybrid Exotic Kapur Fibreglass is a 14 x 8-inch snare drum from Pearl. It has an extra deep 8-inch shell that creates a rich sound. The Kapur wood provides a warm tone, especially in the lower frequency ranges. A layer of fibreglass on the inside gives this snare drum some extra power. It is equipped with SuperHoop II hoops and chrome hardware.

Pearl has given this HEK1480 Hybrid Exotic an extra deep shell. The 8-inch deep shell in combination with the Kapur wood, creates a solid, warm tone. The snares are easy to operate with the SR-1000 snare strainer. With the special Spin-Tight tension rods you can easily keep a consistent tension on the head. With a lockable dial you can easily maintain the right tension. The Hybrid Exotic series of snare drums is perfect for the drummer that prefers a warm sound.
