General

A high-quality aluminium snare drum: the Pearl HEAL1450 Cast Aluminium snare drum. This snare drum comes from the new Hybrid Exotic series from Pearl and has a 14-inch diameter and a 5-inch deep shell. The aluminium shell is 3 mm thick, which makes this snare drum ultra sensitive. This way, you can easily express dynamic differences, making this a snare drum you can play very gently, but also quite loud.

Pearl has given this Hybrid Exotic snare a great look. The matte black colour nicely matches the chrome-plated hardware. Special Spin-Tight tension rods make sure that the tension on the drumhead stays even. Pearl's aluminium shells are known for their unique sound, which resembles that of a wooden shell. The 14 x 5-inch Pearl HEAL1450 snare drum has a sensitive response, ideal for any drummer.
